    On Saturday July 4, 2020 the 40th annual Arnold Independence Day parade and Crafts Fair Parade starts at 10:00am East of town and ends approximately at 11:30am in Cedar Center HY4 is closed at 9:00 or 9:30 and opens after the parade, come early to find roadside seating If you are interested in being in the parade contact Linda at 209 795-1006  

  • 6. Arnold Classic Car Show

    Date: July 18, 2020

    Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

    ARTS EVENT: SATURDAY, JULY 18, 10:00AM TO 4:00PM, WHITE PINES PARK AREA The 15th Annual Arnold Classic Car Show sponsored by the White Pines Park Committee. . Check LODGING and DINING on this www.artsandadventure.org website. . Open to all pre-1986 vehicles and all year’s motorcycles; Awards for Classic Cars, Hot Rods, 4×4’s, and Motorcycles. . $25 registration (pre-reg or at the event).  Call Paul at 209 795-2935 or email pdbertini@gmail.com to request registration form. . Lots of shade; BBQ by Moose Lodge and cold Beer Vendors; and DJ Music.   Stay for the awards presentation. . Entrance and parking is free for the event.    

  • 7. Moose Lodge Car Show & Chili Cook Off

    Date: August 15, 2020

    Time: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

    MOOSE LODGE CAR SHOW & CHILI COOK OFF: SATURDAY, AUG 15TH, 11 – 4PM,  ARNOLD Car enthusiasts and Chili lovers bring the family to Arnold and the Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge at 1965 Blagen Road across from White Pines lake.  There will be food and raffles, Chili tasting, and lots more.  Admission is free.    . Anything on wheels can be entered into the Car Show – Entry donation is $20    . Enter your favorite Chili (Bring the Hot Stuff) – Entry donation is $10    . Get a taster wrist band for $5 that includes tasting all Chili with cornbread and a voting ballot Go to “Facebook” to get entry forms in advance, set up time details, and more information.

    Date: September 12, 2020 - September 13, 2020

    ANNUAL MUSIC FESTIVAL: SAT – SUN, SEPT 12TH – 13TH, HERMIT VALLEY, HY4 Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association sponsored annual event. Free event with five bands, food and drink vendors with camping available for Saturday night.  Hermit Valley is up Highway 4 past Bear Valley and Lake Alpine. Saturday: Noon to 8:oopm Bands Play Non-stop   Band Schedule: 1. Bodie 601 Band (Bluegrass) out of Mamouth, CA 2. Beans Souza (singer, songwriter) used to plaly with Lacy J. Dalton Band 3. Bill Welles & Friends 4. Grover Anderson & The Lampoilers 5.   • Arnold Rim Trail ADVENTURE LOCATION

    Date: October 1, 2020 - December 31, 2022

    Time: 6:00 am to 8:00 pm

    Great adventures for enthusiasts of all ages with hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails with scenic overlooks, thick forests, streams and waterfalls.  Several starting points to enter portions of the trail from Hathaway Pines, through Arnold and up to White Pines.  Click on the “Website” link to get information on the trail.

  • White Pines Park ADVENTURE LOCATION

    Date: November 5, 2020 - December 31, 2022

    Time: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm

    White Pines Park is located about one mile up Blagen Road from Arnold in the White Pines Community.  The volunteer maintained park contains a lake with fishing, swimming, boating and a beach. There is a Playground, Basketball and Volleyball courts, Picnic Tables and BBQs.  There is a PAR course with fitness stations.  The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.  Nearby are: . A Soft Ball Field . A DGC (An 18 hole Disk Golf Course) . The Sierra Logging Museum . The East most beginning of the Arnold Rim Trail . Linebaugh Park with tables and a stage .   • Sequoia Woods Golf ADVENTURE LOCATION

    Date: November 10, 2020 - December 31, 2022

    Time: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm

  • Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway ADVENTURE LOCATION

    Date: November 25, 2020 - December 31, 2022

    Ebbetts Pass Highway 4 going east from Arnold over to Markleeville achieved national recognition and attention by being declared a National Scenic Byway.   It was not because of the harrowing road that this recognition was granted, but rather by the unique and beautiful recreational lands with lakes, streams, rivers, national trials (Muir and Pacific Crest).  The adventures are surrounded by nature with hiking, snowshoeing, boating, fishing, kayaking, camping, hunting, snow mobiles, and cross country skiing.  Look at the slide show of this area and click on the “Website” link to get even more information.
